Learning Solutions Policies

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. To best serve your shopping needs, we endeavour to provide products, services, and offers of value to you. We are able to present meaningful offers to you through the information we collect from our interactions with you, from other customers, and from other parties. Learning Solutions has procedures in place to ensure that your personal information is handled in a safe, secure, and responsible manner.

  • What Information Does Learning Solutions Collect?

    Learning Solutions collects information you provide to us to serve your needs. For example, if you place an order, or simply register on our site, you will provide to us your name, address, email address, phone number and credit card information. Of course, if you are placing an order, you will need to know the product(s) you wish to purchase. Learning Solutions also collects information you voluntarily submit when participating in one of our various services, promotions, trainings or surveys. From your transactions and other interactions with us, we obtain information concerning the specific products or services you purchase or use.

  • How Does Learning Solutions Use the Information Collected?

    Learning Solutions complies with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998 and, in accordance with the Privacy & Electronic Communications Act (which became law on 11 December 2003), does not send random marketing emails to personal email addresses (spam). Learning Solutions uses the information collected as follows:

    • to complete your purchase transactions and provide the services you request;
    • to send you postcards and other offerings through the mail;
    • to contact you about the status of your orders;
    • to identify your product and service preferences, so that you can be informed of new or additional products, services, and promotions that might be of interest to you;
    • to notify you of product recalls or provide other information concerning products you have purchased; and
    • to improve our merchandise selections, customer service, and overall customer shopping experience.


  • How to Access and Correct Information Collected?

    You can update or correct your name, address, telephone number or e-Mail address at any time by writing, faxing or e-Mailing us to access or correct any of this information. Please contact us if you would like to update or correct any of your information.

  • How to Opt Out of Receiving Further Communications from us

    To be removed from any of the Learning Solutions mailing lists, please email us and write "Remove" in the subject box of your email. We will make every effort to implement any choice you make as soon as possible, but you should allow approximately three days for mailing change requests to be fully implemented.

  • How Does Learning Solutions Safeguard the Information Collected?

    Learning Solutions protects against unauthorized disclosures by limiting access only to those of our employees who need the information to do their jobs. Learning Solutions employees are trained about their responsibility to protect our customers' privacy.

  • Is My Online Transaction Secure?

    Yes. It is very secure. We use WorldPay to handle your transaction and the information transmitted online is highly encrypted using complicated logarithm combinations. The WorldPay payment system uses a combination of both established and innovative techniques to ensure the security and integrity of all sensitive data. Furthermore, their public web servers are certified by Thawte, a public Certificate Authority, ensuring that you can have confidence that nobody can impersonate WorldPay to obtain confidential information. The transfer of the purchase details from this site to WorldPay are encapsulated using their own encrypted and digitally-signed protocol. This uses a combination of standard methods such as PGP, RSA and MD5 to ensure that the information passed is secure and tamper-proof. Data storage on WorldPay systems, and the communication between WorldPay and the worldwide banking networks, is regularly audited by the banking authorities to ensure a secure transaction environment. WorldPay also ensure that they stay up-to-date with the latest versions of any third-party code they use, and continually review their own proprietary code.

  • What Credit/Debit Cards do we accept?

    WorldPay accepts a wide range of credit and debit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, American Express, JCB, Diners, Laser, Electron and many more.

  • Does Learning Solutions Use Cookies?

    The improper use of cookies and other such technologies has generated much anxiety for consumers. Learning Solutions does not currently use cookies.

  • Whom Do I Contact if I Have Additional Questions or Concerns About this Policy?

    If you have any questions or concerns about this policy, please contact our Customer Service office at info@learning-solutions.co.uk. You may also place your order by telephone by calling our order line at 01274 777250. NOTE: This policy may be modified from time to time. You are encouraged to review this policy on a monthly basis.

Returns and Refunds Policy

Your satisfaction is important to us. We stand behind our products and their quality. Unused items in original condition may be returned for exchange or refund of merchandise price within 30 days of purchase. Once opened CDs, Software, and Equipment are not returnable. Please understand we cannot accept merchandise which is returned incomplete or in obviously "used" condition. For equipment, refer to the manufacturer's warranty. Your product invoice is required for processing your return. For your protection, return your package via registered post. We are not responsible for returned packages lost in the post. C.O.D returns are not accepted. On valid returns we will credit your payment method (less post & handling charges) within 4 to 6 weeks.

Training Courses

Cancellations must be made in writing, pre-paid tuition refundable less £50.00 registration fee. No refunds will be made less than two weeks prior to a selected training course. Learning Solutions reserves the right to cancel any training course with due cause and a full refund of any tuition or registration fees paid.
